Subsequently, the gelding was taken out, got loose in the process and was apprehended at the 1400 metres chute. As such, the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. ASTERION was observed to have a small injury on its right hind stifle.
