Azai	Jockey Nikhil Naidu, the rider of AZAI, reported that his mount was inclined to hang out throughout the race and did not quicken when asked for an effort in the concluding stages of the race, was noted.
Ashwamegh	ASHWAMEGH (Asghar) jumped awkwardly from the gates.
Blazing Belle	BLAZING BELLE (App P Tejeshwar) was fractious to be stalled.

			1:45 PM

Pontius Pilate	b h PONTIUS PILATE, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Saturday, 26th February, 2022 and found to be lame on left fore. Under the circumstances the horse was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Snooze N U Lose	Left hind shoe of SHERWIN (Nikhil Naidu) came off at the starting gates, as such the right hind shoe was also taken off and the gelding was permitted to run with bare hinds.
Secret Pearl	Jockey B L Paswan, the rider of D KNIGHT MYSORE, was reprimanded in the presence of Tr. B Mahesh for easing back his mount passing the 600 metres for no apparent reason, inconveniencing LOUBOUTIN (App Gaurav Singh) and SECRET PEARL (Hindu Singh) travelling behind. The Jockey was further informed that if he continues to ride in races in such manner, appropriate action will be taken against him.
Louboutin	LOUBOUTIN (App Gaurav Singh) was fractious in its stall. Jockey B L Paswan, the rider of D KNIGHT MYSORE, was reprimanded in the presence of Tr. B Mahesh for easing back his mount passing the 600 metres for no apparent reason, inconveniencing LOUBOUTIN (App Gaurav Singh) and SECRET PEARL (Hindu Singh) travelling behind. The Jockey was further informed that if he continues to ride in races in such manner, appropriate action will be taken against him. The Veterinary Officer reported that LOUBOUTIN returned without its left fore shoe.
D Knight Mysore	Jockey B L Paswan, the rider of D KNIGHT MYSORE, was reprimanded in the presence of Tr. Fenicia Glint	b g FENICIA GLINT (App P Tejeshwar) was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the starting gates and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Dornish	DORNISH (R S Bhati) which was difficult to load, was slow to begin.
Cletus	CLETUS (Hindu Singh) was slow to begin.

4	(87)	THE COMEDY OF ERRORS HANDICAP A Handicap for Horses rated 21 TO 46 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)	1100M

Little Finger	LITTLE FINGER (Hindu Singh) was difficult to load.
Bunting	BUNTING (App Hasib Alam) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. Tr. Javed Khan was advised to ensure that his charge arrives on time in future.
Script	SCRIPT (Md Imran) was fractious in its stall.
Indian Star	INDIAN STAR (Vinay Jaiswal) was slow to begin. Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of INDIAN STAR, reported in the presence of Tr. Vikash Jaiswal that his mount was trying to run out soon after the start, did not show any initial speed and was finishing on only in the concluding stages of the race. He further opined that the gelding “might” be a choker. His explanations were noted for future reference.

Nazaakat	NAZAAKAT (App P Tejeshwar, drawn 3) and AMAZING DREAM (Arman Khan, drawn 4) made contact with each other soon after the start.
Arrow	ARROW (Sujit Kr Paswan) had to take evasive action passing the 600 metres when DEVINE CHAKRA was eased up by Jockey Hindu Singh, in the process ARROW lost precious ground in the race.
Apna Time Aayega	APNA TIME AAYEGA (App Gaurav Singh) and AMAZING DREAM (Arman Khan) were slow to begin.
Amazing Dream	APNA TIME AAYEGA (App Gaurav Singh) and AMAZING DREAM (Arman Khan) were slow to begin. NAZAAKAT (App P Tejeshwar, drawn 3) and AMAZING DREAM (Arman Khan, drawn 4) made contact with each other soon after the start.
Devine Chakra	Approaching the 800 metres SCARLET WITCH (App Hasib Alam) clipped DEVINE CHAKRA (Hindu Singh) when the latter travelling in front, shifted in. Soon after DEVINE CHAKRA was eased out of the race by its rider as he felt his mount was not striding fluently from the hind. SCARLET WITCH broke down passing the distance post and was eased up by App Hasib Alam. Immediate veterinary examination revealed that SCARLET WITCH sustained fracture of both apical sesamoid bone of right fore, was in pain and agony and was euthanized on humanitarian grounds later in the evening. The Veterinary Officer reported that DEVINE CHAKRA returned with a cut injury on its left hind. ARROW (Sujit Kr Paswan) had to take evasive action passing the 600 metres when DEVINE CHAKRA was eased up by Jockey Hindu Singh, in the process ARROW lost precious ground in the race.
