Nice GuyTrainer Mr.M.P. Mahaesh was fined Rs.10,000/ by the Stewards for accepting his charge NICE GUY without producing the Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer when it had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently the horse was permitted to be withdrawn.
Non Stop CannonPermission was granted to trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to withdraw NON STOP CANNON (B.L. Paswan) on veterinary grounds as it had sustained an injury on right knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Orange OrchardRoutine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch f ORANGE ORCHARD.
Royal FlynnROYAL FLYNN (P. Ramesh) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates and inconvenienced DAZZLING LIGHT (A.Velu) on its outside. ROYAL FLYNN (P. Ramesh) sustained gum injury.

AcridianACRIDIAN (Suraj Narredu) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates.
PinaakiniPINAAKINI (Shobhan Babu) sustained gum injury.
Blue BoyBLUE BOY (P. Mani) pulled up lame after the race on left fore due to a sprained tendon and sustained a cut injury on left fore inner bulb of heel. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

3 (165) THE MANITOU CUP
TERMS - 3 year old maidens only		 1200M
ZaffaraniJockey M.Narredu, the rider of ZAFFARANI,was fined Rs.1,000/ for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
Chelsy DancerCHELSY DANCER (K.P.G. Appu) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Walter (O)WALTER (C. Krishnan) suddenly shied away approaching the 300 Metres.
Resplendent AlphaTrainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was fined Rs.2,000/ for declaring Jockey K. Raja Rao to ride his charge RESPLENDENT ALPHA when the said rider was under suspension. Subsequently he was permitted to declare Jockey D. Patel to ride RESPLENDENT ALPHA.

Scenic MelodySCENIC MELODY (S. Babu) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
MarcegaliaMARCEGALIA (L. Marshall) burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Mr. J.S. Dhariwal was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Hakuna Matata(O)HAKUNA MATATA (S. Chandrashekar) swerved to the left soon after the start. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one jump out on a starting gate practice day.

5 (167) THE J.B.MALLARADHYA MEMORIAL CUP
A Handicap for Horses rated 80 & ABOVE		 1200M
Perfect RhythmThe Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Ranjeet Singh, the rider of PERFECT RHYTHM to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding on his mount in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan and Jockey Ranjeet Singh. After deliberations, they decided to(a) note the explanations tendered by trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan; and (b) suspend Jockey Ranjeet Singh from riding in races from 582008 to 1892008 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (Rule No.161(ii) on his mount PERFECT RHYTHM in the above race (permitted to ride work).
DinesaPassing the 1100 Metres in a tightly packed field DINESA (Vinod Shinde) running behind DIAMOND HUNTER (K.P.G. Appu) had to be checked and shifted out to avoid striking the front runner and in the process it inconvenienced LAVA (C. Krishnan) on the outside which in turn went out and inconvenienced PERFECT RHYTHM (Ranjeet Singh) and FANTABULOUS PRINCE (S. Chandrashekar) on the outside. Soon after the race, the Club`s Veterinary Officer reported that on examination it was observed that the right hind shoe of DINESA (Vinod Shinde) had apparently come off during the race.
Lava(OLD) LAVA (C. Krishnan) sustained a cut injury on left fore fetlock.

6 (168) THE NAWAB SULTAN ALI KHAN MEMORIAL PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 65 - (4, 5 & 6 YEARS OLD)		 1600M
AlgiersAs Jockey S.R. Bhagwat was certified medically unfit, permission was granted to trainer Mr. M.B. Mangalorkar to substitute Jockey L. Marshall to ride ALGIERS in place of Jockey S.R. Bhagwat the declared rider.
SuaveSUAVE (Ryan Marshall) sustained a cut injury on right fore fetlock.
Madam Rich(O)Jockey Md. Shafiq, the rider of MADAM RICH, was fined Rs.3,000/ for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the race.
Royal AlchemistAn enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of ROYAL ALCHEMIST trained by Mr. S. Padmanabhan and ridden by Jockey Wayne Smith.

Brave BheemBRAVE BHEEM (P.Mani) pulled up lame after the race on right fore due to a sprained fetlock. Trainer Mr. Samar Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

8 (170) THE AZHAR PLATE
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 45		 1100M
Stanza StarrySTAZA STARRY (L. Marshall) after jumping out swerved to the right and did not raise a fluent gallop. In view of its behaviour trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track.
Celestial TreasureCELESTIAL TREASURE (B. Prakash) jumped out awkwardly and bumped THE COOL ONE (Md. Shafiq) on its outside soon after jumping out of the gates. CELESTIAL TREASURE (B. Prakash) inconvenienced PIED HARRIER (Suraj Narredu) on its inside approaching the 700 Metres. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f CELESTIAL TREASURE.
Man UnitedJockey Wayne Smith, the rider of MAN UNITED reported that his mount was hanging `in` very badly after entering straight and he had considerable difficulty in keeping his mount on an even course. As a result it went in and inconvenienced TAKE MY WORD (V.R. Jagadeesh) on his inside during the final stages of the race. Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna was informed to get it checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.
Worth A MillionWORTH A MILLION (M.J. Gautam Raj Urs) inconvenienced ROYAL ZEN (S. Chandrashekar) on its outside rounding the bend.
Gara FluidJockey Mohammed Shoaib, the rider of GARA FLUID, was fined Rs.1,000/ for shifting in and causing interference to TAKE MY WORD (V.R. Jagadeesh) approaching the 300 Metres.
