LovejoyAt the request of Trainer Nina M.Lalvani, LOVEJOY was examined at 0945 hours on 26/09/2015 and was found to be sore by the right hind leg. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
RealityREALITY (Dashrath Singh, dr. 9) shifted in and went across the field before passing the Red Marker. Jockey Dashrath Singh has been fined Rs.1,000/.
SiddhiJockey P. Trevor (SIDDHI) has been fined Rs.3,000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.

Marcus AureliusMARCUS AURELIUS (P. Trevor) shifted out in the last 100 metres under the use of whip. Jockey P. Trevor fined Rs.2,000/. The saddle on MARCUS AURELIUS was observed to have slipped back during the race. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been fined Rs.2,000/ for faulty saddling.

SwarajApproaching the 800 metres, SWARAJ (T. S. Jodha) shifted in and went across SMOOTHTALKINRASCAL (J. Chinoy). Jockey T. S. Jodha has been cautioned.
SmoothtalkinrascalAt the start, SMOOTHTALKINRASCAL (J. Chinoy, dr. 5) jumped awkwardly outwards on to SWARAJ (T. S. Jodha, dr. 6) who in turn went on to ANOTHER ACE (S. Zervan, dr. 7). Passing the 800 metres, SMOOTHTALKINRASCAL (J. Chinoy) shifted in on to SPEED MAGIC (S. G. Prasad) causing the latter to brush the rails. Jockey J. Chinoy reported that his mount was hanging in. Trainer Vinay Lagad has been advised to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. After the race. SMOOTHTALKINRASCAL and SPEED MAGIC were found to be sound.
Speed MagicJockey S. G. Prasad (SPEED MAGIC) reported that his mount was running green.

EgyptianaPassing 1000 metres, EGYPTIANA (P.Kamlesh) and PEPITO (D.K.Ashish) jostled.
JoshuaIn the last 150 metres, JOSHUA (C. S. Jodha) shifted in on to TAP DANCE (Kishore Kadam) forcing the latter to check and shift out inconveniencing CLASSIC MOMENT (P. Trevor) and PEPITO (D. K. Ashish). Jockey C. S. Jodha reported that his mount was lugging in. Considering that the horse had bled after the race, no action was initiated in the matter. After the race, JOSHUA was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Classic MomentAfter the race, CLASSIC MOMENT and PEPITO were found to be sound.

5 (165) THE PUNTO ABARTH TROPHY (DIV-I)

Grand Duke(OL)GRAND DUKE (S.Zervan) planted and took no part in the race. Since the gelding has a past record of similar behavior, Trainer A.M.Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race, before next accepting to race.
ZararAfter being stalled, ZARAR (App.Raghuveer Singh) played up in the stalls. The gelding was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. who certified him fit to race. After being restalled, the gelding again played up and hooked its fore legs on the side bars. The gelding was again taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. and found to have a cut injury on the right fore pastern and was sore from the right fore leg. As such, ZARAR was certified unfit to race and hence was withdrawn on veterinary grounds, before coming under the Starter’s Order. JOY OF LIFE (T.S.Jodha) played up in the stall and was not allowing the rider to settle. ASAHI (Kishore Kadam) and BLUE FLAME (S.P.Ranjane) lost about 3 lengths each, at the start. Trainers Sangramsinh N.Joshi, S.S.Shah, Rehanullah Khan H.J.Antia have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to raxce. Also, ZARAR has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Rider On The StormOn arrival at the starting gate, it was noticed that RIDER ON THE STORM had lost its left fore plate. As per the norms, the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order.
Spear Of TriumAn enquiry has been initiated into the improved performance of SPEAR OF TRIUM and a report will be submitted shortly.
Passion PrinceApp. Bhawani Singh (PASSION PRINCE) reported that his mount hanging in throughout the race. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been advised remedial measures.
AbbeyAn enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of ABBEY (Arshad Alam) and a report will be submitted shortly. After the race, it was observed that the lower incisor tooth of ABBEY was broken. JOY OF LIFE had a gum injury. PASSION PRINCE and DOUBLE DIAMOND were found to be sound.
Song Of AfricaSONG OF AFRICA (App. Parbat Singh) was observed to travel wide. He has been cautioned for failing to take corrective action.

6 (166) THE LINEA T-JET TROPHY
TERMS - 3 year old maidens only		 1400M
3.30 P.M.
AscendencyASCENDENCY (A.M.Tograllu) played up in the stall. The colt was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. and found to have suffered a cut injury above the right eye and had blood stains in the left nostril. As such, ASCENDENCY was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
B Fifty TwoJockey P.Trevor (B FIFTY TWO) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit. However, since the gelding was hanging in and the whip was used as a corrective measure, no action has been intiated against the Jockey. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Aeolus MaximusThe Sr.V.O. reported that AEOLUS MAXIMUS and ANCIENT GLORY were examined at the stables in the morning on 28/09/2015 and were found to be sound. AEOLUS MAXIMUS had kickback sand injury to the left eye.
Power ShadowPOWER SHADOW (App. S. Joseph, dr. 5) jumped out and went outwards and at the same point MANNEQUIN (App. D. S. Daman, dr. 7) jumped out and shifted inwards and bumped each other. Passing the 600 metres, POWER SHADOW (App. S. Joseph) dropped back and shifted out on to MARVEL (D. K. Ashish).

7 (167) THE FCA - JAY VIJAY FIAT INDIAN ST. LEGER (GR.1)

TatianaTATIANA (S. Zervan) stopped galloping passing the 2000 metres. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to show the filly to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in a Mock Race, before next accepting with her to race.
QuasarApp.Yash Narredu (QUASAR) has been fined Rs.3,000/ for raising his hand as a victory sign before passing the winning post.
Shivalik ShowersAfter the race, SHIVALIK SHOWERS was found to be sound.

8 (168) THE PUNTO ABARTH TROPHY (DIV-II)

Royal SapphirePassing 150 metres, in an effort to make a run from the outside, Jockey Dashrath Singh (ROYAL SAPPHIRE) shifted out and clipped the heels of PALACE GIRL (P. Trevor).
NicanorAfter the race, NICANOR, QUEEN OF VENUS and ROYAL SAPPHIRE were found to be sound.

9 (169) THE DAMODARAN D PILLAI TROPHY
A Handicap for Horses rated 40 TO 66 - (5 YEARS OLD & UPWARD)		 1400M

Domingo (O)After the race, DOMINGO was found to be sound.
Samba WarriorApproaching the 1200 Metres, SAMBA WARRIOR (P.Trevor) and HONEST PLEASURE (D.K.Ashish) were inconvenienced and dropped back. The Stipendiary Stewards will be enquiring into the incident to ascertain the cause. An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of SAMBA WARRIOR and a report will be submitted shortly. The Sr.V.O. reported that SAMBA WARRIOR was examined at the stables in the morning on 28/09/2015 and was found to be sore from the right fore leg. Also, the gelding had a cut injury at the right fore tendon and right hind pastern. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Hunt For HeadsJockey Dashrath Singh (HUNT FOR HEADS) reported that he did not get a clear run in the straight.
