Dream YugaDREAM YUGA (App.Yash Narredu) lost 2 lengths at the start.
MoralsAfter the race, MORALS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, MORALS and ZAAN were found to be sound.
Star Fire BoyAfter the race, STAR FIRE BOY was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

RajsammanRAJSAMMAN (App.D.S.Daman) stumbled on its own in the final stages of the race. RAJSAMMAN (App.D.S.Daman) luggedout in the straight. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. After the race, RAJSAMMAN was found to be sound.
Sea TreasureSEA TREASURE (S.G.Prasad) lost 2 lengths at the start.

3 (168) THE SUNNY DOWNS TROPHY

Simply SweetAt the request of Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait, SIMPLY SWEET was examined at 1100 hours on 28/09/2014 and was found to have bruised and inflamed frogs of both the fore hooves and was sore by the left fore leg. As such, the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
Starry BrookSTARRY BROOK (App.Yash Narredu) was reluctant to reach the start. Trainer Adil Dajee has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Glorious HarmonySoon after the start, PURE BLISS (Neeraj Rawal) and MEGGIDO (Kavraj Singh) were tightened for room, and in the process, MEGGIDO lost position.
Star LightningSTAR LIGHTNING (Dashrath Singh) ran erratic in the straight and hampered the running of HALLELUJAH (Akshay) on a couple of occasions. After the race, STAR LIGHTNING and STARRY BROOK were found to be sound.
Chivalrous KnightIn respect of CHIVALROUS KNIGHT (I.Pasha), Trainer Narendra Lagad has been advised to ensure that his charge runs with the field in the future.

Star HolidaySTORMING HOME (P.Trevor) luggedout while negotiating the bend and in the straight thereby placing its rider at a disadvantage. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. After the race, STORMING HOME, WORD OF HONOUR and DANSE DEBONAIRE were found to be sound.
Feast Of LoveFEAST OF LOVE (T.S.Jodha) dropped its Tongue Strap on the way to the start. The same was replaced with the Club’s gear.

5 (170) THE MAHAJAN CUP

Antartica ZoneAfter the race, ANTARTICA ZONE was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
Wind CraftWIND CRAFT (S.G.Prasad) was restless in the stall. Trainer H.J.Antia has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
SilsilaTrainer Adhirajsingh Jodha and Jockey H. A.Sachin were questioned regarding the running and riding SILSILA. The instructions were to take a good jump and race from the rear position. The Trainer added that the filly has not shown any form and according to him, today the filly has run a progressive race and he was satisfied with the Jockey’s riding considering his calibre. Jockey H.A.Sachin has been suspended for 18th October 2014 for incompetent riding (Permitted to ride work / mock race) and Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been cautioned for the running of his charge.
TitleistSoon after the start, TITLEIST (Sandeep Jadhav) shiftedin marginally, due to which SILSILA (H.A.Sachin) shied away and went on to TAMMY O (App.Yash Narredu), who went on ZENOFIC (D. K.Ashish), who in turn went on to PRESENCE (App.Bhawani Singh) who scrapped the rails. Jockey Sandeep Jadhav (TITLEIST) reported the loss of whip near 200 metres. This being the second occasion of him losing the whip during the current Pune Meeting, he has been fined Rs 2,000/.
ZenoficZENOFIC (D.K.Ashish) luggedout while negotiating the bend and in the straight. Trainer M.Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
Tammy OApp.Yash Narredu (TAMMY O) reported that his Instructions were to be in 3rd or 4th position but due to the interference after the start he could not position his mount as instructed and further that his mount was taken wide in the middle stages of the race and also at the bend by ZENOFIC (D.K.Ashish). After the race, TAMMY O, ANTARTICA ZONE & SILSILA were found to be sound.

6 (171) THE SIGNATURE INDIAN ST. LEGER (GR.1)

Starry EyesThe saddle on STARRY EYES (Dashrath Singh) was observed to have slipped forward during the race, as such, Trainer Adil Dajee has been fined Rs.2,000/.
MontrealThe Club’s V.O. reported that after crossing the winning post, MONTREAL was observed to be in distress. First Aid treatment was given and later the horse was sent to the Equine Hospital by Horse Ambulance for further management.

7 (172) THE MENORAH TROPHY (DIV-II)
A Handicap for Horses rated 20 TO 46		 1000M

TrendingTRENDING (R.Shelar) was inclined to lean outwards and made contact with SKYJET (C.S.Jodha) on a couple of occasions in the early part of the race. Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. Near 800 metres, TRENDING (R.Shelar) was steadied when inconvenienced while racing on the inside of SKYJET (C.S.Jodha).
Holiday DancerAfter the race, HOLIDAY DANCER was observed to have a cut injury at the left quarter.
Blazing FireAt the start, BLAZING FIRE (App.Akshay Gaikwad) tried to veer to the outside. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

8 (173) THE MENORAH TROPHY (DIV-I)

Born To WinAt the start, BORN TO WIN (T.S.Jodha) jumped out awkwardly. The saddle on BORN TO WIN was observed to have slipped to the left side during the race. As such, TrainerS.S.Shah has been fined Rs.5,000/.
Heart Of The CityApproaching 400 metres, HEART OF THE CITY (App.D.S.Daman) shiftedin and caused interference to YARDSTICK (S.P.Ranjane). App.D.S.Daman has been fined Rs.1,000/.
Beau RoyaleBEAU ROYALE (V.Chandrakant) trailed the field. Since the gelding had raced in a similar manner earlier, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been advised to ensure that his charge runs with the field in the future.
Play FairPLAY FAIR (R.Shelar) lost 2 lengths at the start.
Highway ExpressThe Club’s V.O. reported that whilst returning after completion of the race, near 2200 metres HIGHWAY EXPRESS was observed to be sore from the left fore leg. First Aid treatment was given and the mare was sent to the Equine Hospital by Horse Ambulance for further management. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, YARDSTICK was observed to have lost its left fore plate.

9 (174) THE NOBLE PRINCE TROPHY

Spear Of TriumApp.Bhawani Singh (SPEAR OF TRIUM) has been cautioned for allowing his mount to drift wide while negotiating the bend. After the race, BELLA FIGURA and ROCK THE TURF were found to be sound.
Rock The TurfROCK THE TURF (I.Pasha, dr.6) jumped out awkwardly and went on to ADAMS WING (Kavraj Singh, dr.5).
Red RubyNear 700 metres, RED RUBY (App.Akshay Gaikwad) was tightened as FAJR (S.G.Prasad) shiftedin. Jockey S.G.Prasad has been cautioned.
