Miss American Pie Finally Savours Mumbai Success
Sunday’s Mumbai races revolved around a long-awaited moment of vindication as Miss American Pie finally conquered the Mumbai straight in the Mulraj Goculdas Trophy. Ridden with uncommon restraint by visiting English jockey David Allan, the seasoned mare was produced late to repel a spirited challenge from Market King. Allan went on to enjoy a memorable treble, but the day belonged to patience, timing and a mare who finally said enough is enough.
