Astral Flare scampers home in Independence Million Vishal Gaikwad trained Astral Flare won the Mayor Babu Rao Sanas Memorial Independence Million, a race for horses rated 20 to 46, the feature event of Wednesday’s Pune races. The Independence Day Million had invariably produced an upset but this time out, though Astral Flash was not a favourite, she was considered strongly to win in what was an open type of race.
