| 9th till 1000, 10th till turn, came ip nicely along the fence where failed to shoot through the rails as Lionwoods closed the gp, shifted out then the winner hampered its run, ended 4th.Incidents: An Objection was lodged by Jockey M.Narredu, rider of APPLAUD (placed 4th) against Jockey N.G.McCullagh, the rider of LIONWOODS (placed second) and against Jockey R.Hughes, the rider of XISCA (placed first). The reason being, in the last 200 metres LIONWOODS (N.G.McCullagh) shifted in badly due to which he had to check his mount and thereafter XISCA (R.Hughes) shifted in and tightened him, taking his ground, due to which he had to stop riding for a few strides, which cost him the race. After considering the submissions made by the Jockeys concerned, in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their judgment, the Stewards decided to over rule the Objection.
