It is one year since we set up www.racingpulse.in and during this period, we have been successful in setting up a website of world class standards. The last one year has gone at a frenetic pace and we have kept pace with the changing demands and perceptions of the intelligent racing enthusiast. We have introduced several innovations which have been widely appreciated both for the novelty as well as for easy maneuverability.

We have several ambitious plans on hand and one of them includes giving the race card in PDF format which will be easy to print and benefit those who have no access to race books. The PDF format card will have all the features of a race card given in a concise format. This format will be a boon to racing enthusiasts who have to make great efforts to get the race book in the city`s crowded traffic or those living in far-flung areas where books don`t reach. We had provided complete access to the website free of cost till date in the hope that support from within the industry will underwrite the huge expenses involved in the upkeep of the website. We have succeeded to some extent but still fallen short as the need to advertise, as a means of product promotion in the world of horse racing, is yet to catch the imagination of those involved in the sport. In order to meet the shortfall in revenue, we have reluctantly taken the hard decision to levy a small user fee for accessing certain sections of the website.

While the editorial content will continue to remain free along with handicaps, acceptances, results and videos, we have decided to restrict the access pertaining to Form Guide, One2One, Selections, Odds and all data search options. Does any body grudge paying a race book Rs 10?

We have kept the charges affordable and as low as what you would normally pay for one cup of coffee in a small wayside restaurant. After much thought, we concluded that the sections mentioned above would be made available at approximately Rs 6 per day, which in effect translates to a mere Rs 2,000 per year.

We are sure this will not prove to be much of a burden for our race goers because we have to ensure that the website sustains itself since it is managed by individuals who have a passion for the sport and is not funded by any big corporate entity. You will appreciate that a race book which gives limited information than what is available on our website, charges around Rs 10 per race book for any particular racing centre while we offer wider range of information pertaining to all the major racing centres of India for a mere Rs 6 per day! And what is more, the information is brought to you at lightning speed!

There are certain formalities that need to be completed to enable you to access selected portions of the website. We guarantee efficient service but your subscription is of course subject to certain conditions. While we promise to make every effort to ensure timeliness and have firm control on quality, we will be not responsible for any delay due to problems related to factors beyond our control like breakdown in net facility or problems arising out of server connectivity.
