Shashikanth with regard to the improved performance of his charge ASHWA GAJRAJ (Vivek G) winning of the race who finished 5th in the previous run stated that his charge after the 1st run had a set back as such he has given a long gap of more than 2 months. Subsequently in Race No. 95, due to fast initial pace, his charge could not go to the front as instructed and in the straight was gaining ground gradually as compared to the present race, his charge could easily go to the front and a better Jockey in the saddle was added to his charges improved performance and went on to win the race. The Trainer further added that based on his charges previous run he had not fancied and was available at longer odds, noted. The Trainer was however severely cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future. |
