Pune Turns the Favourite Obsession on Its Head
After Hyderabad had allowed the favourites to bask in the sunshine, punters arrived at Pune perhaps expecting another day of market leaders having things their own way. Pune, characteristically, had other plans. The favourites were treated with all the reverence of racing royalty, only to be repeatedly shown the exit by horses the betting ring had barely noticed.
