| | Jockey P Tejeshwar when questioned regarding the riding instructions on AWESOME ONE, stated that he was instructed to position his mount in the mid bunch and do his best. However, the pace of the race was too fast in the initial stages as such he had to sit at the rear end of the field. Tr. Aashay Doctor stated “I had asked the jockey to sit in the mid bunch (4 5th) and thereafter do his best in the straight. I had also mentioned to him that the horse has a tendency to hang inside and that he should have his whip in the right hand”. While the explanations were noted, Jockey P Tejeshwar was advised to position his mounts better and leave no room for query on his mounts in future. |
