After the race, MOMENT OF MADNESS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. As such, the mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

This being the first instance of faulty saddling during the current Mumbai Meeting 2025/26, Trainer Shazaan Shah (deputizing for Trainer P. S. Chouhan) has been fined Rs.2,000/.  On a request from Trainer B. Prithviraj, AR FIRST STAR was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 10:00 a.m. on 4th December 2025 at the stables and was found have a painful swelling on its right wither. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race, was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

 ELEVEN ELEVEN was not declared to start after accepting with the filly due to late realization of medication that had been logged. As such, Trainer Aman Altaf Hussain has been fined Rs.5,000/ for his lapse and the gelding was subjected to sampling. The urine samples of the winner of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th & 6th race, viz. CORNERSTONE, HARRISON, GOLDEN DANCER, JAANDAAR & STORM CLOUD, and the special samples of LUCKY DIAMOND (5th race) & ELEVEN ELEVEN (7h race) were collected for detection of prohibited substances. Tr.
