 THIRD AVENUE which took over running from about the bend was observed to break down and was eased up by its rider. On veterinary examination the horse was found to be lame on right fore. Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor was advised not to accept with her charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Great Guns
 GREAT GUNS was tightened for room passing the 1800 metres and had to drop back. The Veterinary Officer reported that GREAT GUNS returned bleeding from its nostrils. Tr. Aashay Doctor was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
Good Deeds
 GOOD DEEDS dropped back rapidly from about the 600 metres, was eased up by its rider from about the 350 metres of the race. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the mare and submit his report. Post race endoscopy revealed that the mare suffered from EIPH Gr II and was trotting sound.
Charismatic
 Tr. Rutherford Alford, deputising for Tr. Prasanna Kumar was warned for the late arrival of his charge CHARISMATIC to the paddock.

10 (84) THE MULTITUDE CUP (DIV-I)

 The Veterinary Officer reported that TOTALLY EPIC returned with left knee injury.
Santamarina Star
 SANTAMARINA STAR was very fractious while going to the start, repeatedly dislodged the rider and had to be led riderless to the gate. Further the mare planted losing considerable ground at the start and thereafter trailed the field home. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter. Tr.  SURPRISE FANTASY was hanging in during the last 200 metres of the race in spite of the Jockey’s best efforts. Tr. Neil Darashah was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.

 Jockey R Vaibhav (MEHRA) reported that his mount was changing legs during the concluding stages of the race and stumbled after passing the winning post. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the mare and submit his report.

 Jockey Hasib Alam (SEA OF CHARM) was fined a sum of Rs. 15,000/ for failing to improve position in the initial and middle stages of the race and for failing to infuse adequate vigour into his finishing efforts. Tr. B Rajender Reddy was finally warned to ensure that his charges are run and ridden in such a manner that leaves no room for query.
