The Stipendiary Stewards after considering the submissions made by Jockey Akshay Kumar and after repeatedly viewing all the available angles of the CCTV footage of the Start of the above Race, decided to charge Jockey Akshay Kumar for Careless Riding [Breach of Rule No. 161 (i) of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., Rules of Racing], on his mount MNEMOSYNE, in the above Race. The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Akshay Kumar for One (1) race day, i.e., 06/06/2026 of Bangalore Summer Meeting 2026 as he had pleaded guilty for Careless Riding under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing on his mount MNEMOSYNE, in the above Race. He is permitted to ride work and was informed of his right to appeal. |
