Azharuddin when questioned regarding the running and riding of CACHE, the Jockey stated that he was instructed to take a good jump, position his mount in 5th/6th position and to do his best. The Trainer corroborated the Jockey’s statement. The Stipendiary Stewards not being satisfied with the explanations tendered, decided to : b) Fine Tr. Sabeel Shariff a sum of Rs. 25,000/ for the unsatisfactory running of his charge CACHE. The Trainer was further warned to ensure that his charges are run and ridden in such manner that leaves no room query. CACHE was examined and found to be trotting sound. |
