| 5th till 1200,3rd till turn,charged ahead and shifted 2nd upon a Stewards enquiry as he had taken grounds of Su chailyoIncidents: At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, a Stewards’ Enquiry was held in this race. The reason being that near 100 metres, CIEL INDIENNE (J.G.Sampson, placed first), shifted in and caused interference to SU CHALIYO (Ladjadj Stephane, placed 2nd) who was gaining ground on the inside and had to change course. The Stewards considered the submissions made by the Jockeys in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their own observation of the incident, decided to revise the Order of Placing as follows: SU CHALIYO – First;CIEL INDIENNE SecondSTAR WARRIOR Third & SCIONIC Fourth. Jockey J.G.Sampson (CIEL INDIENNE) reported loss of whip near 200 metres. The Jockey has been reminded of the notice with regard to the Loss of Whip. |
