| Trailed all the wayIncidents: HAIL THE KING (J.Pradeep) was observed to have trailed the field as the gelding did in its previous start. When questioned, Trainer Hosidar Daji stated that the gelding works well but has not been racing well. He added that the gelding had suffered a setback during the month of January 2014 and its first race after the setback was on 30 August 2014. He added that the new Monsoon Track may not have suited the gelding. To another question, he stated that the optimum body weight of the gelding is around 450 kg but presently he weighs about 470 kg and that despite his efforts the gelding has not been able to shed his weight. The Trainer informed that he would be changing the work pattern of the gelding. Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to ensure that the gelding runs with the field competitively in future. |
