The Jockey stated that he was instructed to sit in a forward position and he was also informed that the horse has the habit of drifting in. The Jockey further added that the horse luggedin throughout the race. Trainer Vijay Kasbekar stated that this was the gelding’s second run under his charge and he had felt that in this set of horses the gelding could be positioned in a forward position, however, the gelding did not show speed in the early part. He further stated that the gelding has soundness issues. The explanation was noted. After the race, HABIBIANS was found to be sound. |
