Out of sight till turn, started galloping after the fate of the issue was overIncidents: Trainer Narendra Lagad and Jockey V. Chandrakant were questioned regarding the riding of STAYING ALIVE. The Instructions were to ride his own race and to do his best. The Jockey was observed to have ridden feebly in the early part of the straight, and in the final 100 metres when the gelding responded under the use of the whip, the Jockey was observed to have put his hands down which possibly cost him the race. Not being satisfied with the explanation tendered, the matter was reported to the Stewards. The Sr.V.O. reported that STAYING ALIVE was examined at the stables after the race and was found to be sound.
