The matter was reported to the Stewards for unsatisfactory riding. The Stewards interviewed Jockey Amyn Merchant and having heard him and having viewed the recording of the race, were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by him and suspended his Jockey’s license w.e.f. 4th April, 2015 to 12th April, 2015 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding (permitted to ride work/mock race). |
