| 6th till turn, dropped back thereafterIncidents: After the race, App. Parbat Singh (GLORIOUS GIFT) reported that his mount was tentative due to the kick back and had shied out at about 600 metres. After the race, PEONY, GLORIOUS GIFT (examined on 22/08/2016) and STAR ACE (examined on 22/08/2016) were trotted and found to be sound. STAR ACE had an abrasion on the right nose, DECCAN KING had an abrasion at the left fore coronet and TAREEF had a gum injury.

After the race, PEONY was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
