| Took an awkward start, 5th till 1200, 4th till turn, improved and came up well failed to beat the winner; lodged an unsuccessful objection against the winnerIncidents: ALFONSO (Dashrath Singh) jumped out throwing its head thus losing about 2 lengths at the start. Jockey Dashrath Singh (ALFONSO) has been fined Rs.3,000/ for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount, this being his first offence. An objection was lodged by Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of ALFONSO (Placed Second) against BLAVATSKY (Neeraj Rawal, Placed First). The reason being, nearing the 100 metres post, his mount was travelling very well and came alongside BLAVATSKY at which point, BLAVATSKY came on to him due to which he had to break the momentum by checking his mount, despite which the gelding made a rerun and lost by a neck. |
