After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been fined Rs 5,000/ An objection lodged by Jockey Vivek G ,rider of MA CHERIE, placed 4th by the judge against Jockey Akshay Kumar, rider of VIKING , placed 2nd by the judge in that “In the last 200 Meters , when my horse was full of running VIKING shifted out and when I tried to come from inside , he again shifted in front of me where I had to stop riding and switch my horse outside which cost me a certain 2nd place’’ The Stewards after hearing the submissions made by both the Jockeys and viewed the video recording of the Race from all angles, in conjunction with the Stipendiary Stewards and acting on their own observations of the race decided to overrule the objection and the placing remain unchanged as declared by the judge |
