| ASHWAMEGH (Richard W Oliver) which was fractious in its stall, shifted outwards soon after the start bumping into SUN GOD (R S Bhati) who in turn went onto AMAZONIA (Suraj Narredu) travelling on its outside. Further the gelding once again shifted out approaching the 900 metres, bumped into AMAZONIA and inconvenienced those on the outside of AMAZONIA, in the process Jockey Richard W Oliver lost his right stirrup iron which he was able to regain after some distance. Jockey Richard W Oliver was advised to exercise greater control over his mounts in future. The Veterinary Officer reported that ASHWAMEGH returned without its left fore shoe. |
