| | It was observed that ULTIMATE SPEED (Darshan R.N) stopped galloping and fell, dislodging its rider passing the 150 Metres. On immediate examination, by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was reported to have died due to shock as it is blood from both nostrils. |

| | It was observed by the Club`s Veterinary Officer that SOUTHERNARISTOCRAT (B. Nayak) was led into the paddock walking lame on hard ground and was also observed to be lame from winning post to starting gates. On further examination at the starting gates it was found to be trotting lame on right fore. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter`s order. Trainer Mr. M. Rajendra Singh was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. After due enquiry into the above incident, Trainer Mr. M. Rajendra Singh was fined Rs.10,000/ for negligence in discharge of his duties as a trainer in that he produced an unfit horse (SOUTHERNARISTOCRAT) to run in the above race, thereby Contravening Rule No. 114 (b) (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing. |
