Rules of Racing] in the above race. In that he shifted ‘in’ sharply under the use of whip, thereby causing severe interference to MOJITO (A. Imran Khan), which in turn passed it onto JAKE (Antony Raj.S) on his inside in the final 200 Metres. Thus, riding in a Dangerous Manner. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined the Jockeys concerned P. S. Chouhan (KING`S RANSOM), A.Imran Khan (MOJITO) and Antony Raj. S (JAKE), they viewed the CCTV replay of the race in question from various angles. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey’s licence granted to P. S. Chouhan from 4th July, 2023 to 16th July, 2023 (Both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.25,000/ for Dangerous Riding [Rule No. 161 (i) of the B.T.C. Rules of Racing] on his mount KING`S RANSOM in the above race (he is permitted to ride work) and he was informed of his right to appeal. KING`S RANSOM (P. S. Chouhan) was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. |
