Jockey Antony Raj S., the rider of ALDIVA was fined Rs.5,000/ for the improper use of whip on his mount during the race. It was reported after the race that ALDIVA (Antony Raj S.) had apparently lost its right hind shoe during the race. An enquiry was held on 17th July, 2023 by the Stipendiary Stewards into the interference caused by Jockey Antony Raj S., the rider of ALDIVA in the above race. In that he shifted `in` and caused severe interference to WONDER WOMAN (Akshay Kumar) passing the 1300 Metres and further he shifted ‘in’ and causing interference to STRIKING EYES (S. Saqlain) on his inside between the 1100 Metres and 1000 Metres. The Stipendiary Stewards thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Antony Raj S on 3rd August, 2023 as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount ALDIVA (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal. |
