Shamrock Shows He Still Has Spring
Shamrock may be seven years old, but he showed at Mysore on Friday that there is still plenty of spring left in his legs. Returning to the track where he has enjoyed some of his finest moments, the seasoned performer produced a classy performance to land the Gr 2 Maharaja’s Cup. Suraj Narredu, back from Japan, gave him a confident ride as Shamrock brushed aside Prokofiev and Once You Black to score.
